The Cowichan Recyclists Ltd was started by Aaron Bichard and Katie Harris in 2007. We bought the business in February 2017 and our son Eric inspires us to work hard and be successful with our new roles as business owners.
Several of our clients have been with us since the beginning including Volume One Bookstore. Here’s Aaron on Shaw TV when the Recyclists first started in 2007!

Since the beginning the support from Cowichan community has been amazing! In 2008 Aaron and Katie received the Black Tie Excellence Award from the Duncan Chamber if Commerce.
Tony from Tony’s Trailers, a locally owned bike trailer making company, helped to start the Cowichan Recyclists by providing top quality trailers especially designed for the job. Tony continues to be a great support and inspiration and helps fix our trailers.
A big thanks to Aaron and Katie who started it all !!! You are amazing and your legacy continues to roll around D-Town pedaling waste alternatives.
